It has been operating since 2015 and was built under two projects financed under the Operational Program &quot;Environment 2007-2013&quot; &quot;Shumen Plateau Nature Park - a European Park for the Future&quot; and &quot;Organization and Management of Shumen Plateau Nature Park&quot;.<\/p><p>The building has an area of 640 sq.m. On the first floor there is a conference and interactive hall, which are equipped with audio-visual equipment and are suitable for holding trainings, seminars, exhibitions, celebrations and other events. The conference hall has 50 seats.<\/p><p>Here you can find information and materials about the Shumen Plateau Nature Reserve and other protected areas in Bulgaria, purchase souvenirs, maps, information materials. The Directorate&#039;s offices are located on the second floor.<\/p><p>The center is open for visits on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Contact number: 0885 300 The natural and cultural wealth of the Park, the historical past, the opportunities for recreation and tourism are presented in a modern and attractive way. It has an interactive hall with a capacity of 30 seats. Souvenirs and information materials about the \u201cShumen Plateau\u201d Nature Reserve are offered. Visitors can \u201ctalk\u201d to the birds in the forest via a special phone and hear their voices, try to recognize the tracks of forest animals, peek into the forest, \u201crun\u201d all the hiking and cycling routes in the park, as well as establish the location of the landmarks on its territory \u2013 caves, rocks, monasteries, shelters, learn which Bulgarian national and natural parks are and where they are located, and rent a bicycle. In the immediate vicinity of the Center, an interactive corner \u201cForest School\u201d has been built, suitable for conducting ecological lessons and initiatives. Visitors can also go through a &quot;Forest Maze&quot;, where they can search for hidden figures of forest
