The Shumen team of forest educators visited fourth-graders from the "John Exarch Bulgarian" Secondary School, where the lesson "Winter in the Forest" was held. This is the fourth meeting of the young students with the experts from the "Shumen Plateau" Nature Reserve and all the children coped excellently with the tasks set. <\/span>Nearly 500 children from Shumen district participated in the lesson "Winter in the Forest". Over the past month, educators met with children from Novi Pazar, Smyadovo and Shumen, with whom they learned together what happens to trees in winter, which animals hibernate and what the rest eat. 3,750 children have trained the forest teachers from Shumen over the past two and a half years. More and more teachers from schools and kindergartens are choosing to hold their classes outdoors and for the lessons to be led by forest educators. In the spring, a new interesting lesson about forest pests and their natural enemies is being prepared for children. The lesson will be prepared jointly with the Forest Protection Station-Varna.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
