In a special lesson, experts from the Shumen Plateau Nature Reserve presented the most common bird species, including tits, woodpeckers, sparrows, robins, jays and others, that remain in Bulgaria during the winter. The feathered inhabitants of the Park need additional energy and the children committed to helping by making feeders.<\/p>\n<p>The little ones learned that the most accessible food is sunflower seeds, which, however, must be raw and unsalted. It is not appropriate to give bread, especially whole grain. The feeders should be in neutral colors and shapes so that the birds are not afraid to land on them.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, from suitable recyclable and natural materials - cardboard, twine, twigs, each child made different feeders.
