New benches and facilities for tourists were created by the employees of the Shumen Plateau Nature Reserve. Rest benches have been made at three locations near the panoramic road that connects the Shumen fortress with the Founders of the Bulgarian State monument.<\/p>\n

For the convenience of passing visitors, a bridge was built over the waters flowing out of Biserna Cave. This will facilitate access to the cave and the routes in the area.<\/p>\n

Work on the existing park infrastructure is also continuing. Dangerously overhanging trees near the Aleko shelter have been removed, as well as huge fallen beech trees near the Uspeh shelter. The area around the Golyama Halvadzhiyka fountain has been cleaned and mowed. New benches and tables have been placed in the Opera area.<\/p>\n

Maintenance activities on the main routes will continue with the replacement of broken signs along the "Rock Monasteries" route, as well as refreshing the tourist markings.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
