We celebrated Bat Month with lessons with children. Forest educators from the Shumensko Plateau Nature Reserve visited the Smehorani Day Care Center in Shumen and, together with the children from grades 3 and 4, played, drew, and learned about bats.<\/p>\n

So the little ones already know that winged creatures are useful to us humans, they hibernate, and their families are called colonies. We \u201chid\u201d in a cave, just like bats do. Everyone drew their own bat and promised that they were now friends with the little creatures.<\/p>\n
