The spring wildflowers on the Shumen Plateau are prohibited for picking and sale and are classified as protected. This is regulated by the Environmental Protection Act, the Biodiversity Act, the Medicinal Plants Act, and the Protected Areas Act.
\nThe bans apply to wild protected and endangered species.\u00a0and those under restricted use regime <\/span>such as snowdrops and snowdrops, crocuses and spring cyclamen, as well as hellebores, bluebells, forest pansies, primroses, peonies, cuckoo grapes, prickly heather and lingonberry.
