Three trees were planted by the children from the Smehorani Kindergarten together with employees of the Shumen Plateau Nature Reserve. The initiative is on the occasion of the Forest Week - a professional holiday for those working in the forest system, which originated 101 years ago as the "Festival of Afforestation". True to tradition, all the children from the kindergarten took part in planting the saplings. One of them - a cedar, is a gift from the Shumen Plateau Nature Reserve. The older ones put soil, the younger ones watered and trampled. The children learned what types of trees are, how to care for them and what is important for us to have a healthy and strong forest. They also understood that the cultivation of forests is done by people with the special profession of "forester". As a reward and as a memory of today's learning through experience, everyone made a spring card.
