Four fallen trees have been cleared from the path between the Kyoshkavete Forest Park and the Rusalka Cave. Once again, employees from the Shumen Plateau Nature Park and the State Forestry in Shumen are removing old beech trees from this area that have fallen and are obstructing passage.
Since the summer, six trees have fallen, all of which have been cleared from the trail. No park infrastructure has been damaged. The beech plantations in the area are over 100 years old and with this tree species, signs of decay are not clearly expressed. The route is a favorite of Shumen residents and guests of the city, but the Directorate of the Nature Park warns tourists to avoid walking in the area in strong winds. In this section - from the forest park "Kyoskovete" through the shelter "Bigora" and "Opera" to the cave "Rusalka" in bad weather conditions there is a risk of falling branches and trees.
