For the 25th time, the Directorate of the Shumen Plateau Nature Park announces the National Competition "Nature - My Inspiration". The competition is emblematic of the Park and has been organized annually since 1995 to stimulate children's creativity dedicated to nature.
The competition is in several directions – for drawing, for works of art made from natural materials, for presentations on environmental topics and for an essay or poem. Participants must be aged from 1st to 7th grade. There are no restrictions on the techniques and formats used. The requirement for applied works is that they be made from natural materials.
Each work must include: the participant's full name, class, school, address and contact number. The deadline for submitting the works is April 24, 2020, to the Directorate of the Shumen Plateau Nature Park at the address: Shumen, Kyoshkove Forest Park, P.K. 160.
A jury will evaluate the children's artwork, and the winners will be announced in May. Last year, over 220 individual and collective works participated in the competition, with the children participating the most with drawings and applied works.
