A tree threatening the Aleko shelter has been removed

A tree that fell on the Aleko shelter has been removed. The shelter is one of the most visited places in the Shumen Plateau Nature Reserve and is located near the Pazachnitsa villa. The top of the tree broke off after the strong wind a few days ago, the Park experts found during the cleanup. There is no serious damage to the roof of the shelter.

Employees of the State Forestry Enterprise - Shumen removed trees fallen by the wind on the road to the Biserna cave and in the area of the Ministry of Interior villa, the Northeastern State Enterprise added.

Work continues on maintaining the tourist infrastructure. Experts from the Nature Park are renewing the markings along the thematic route "Map under protection - a gift for generations", signs are being placed where they are missing or broken. An inspection of the most visited shelters and picnic areas was conducted. No accumulations of waste were found. The Directorate of the Shumen Plateau Nature Park calls on citizens not to throw waste into nature and to be responsible when lighting fires. Use only the regulated places and do not leave unextinguished fires!
