With a smile and good mood, young people from Shumen repaired the Path for People with Disabilities at the Shumen Plateau Nature Reserve. The forest signs with Braille text presenting the tree species in the Park were restored, the barriers were repaired and replaced, and the sports equipment and facilities were repainted. The work lasted nearly 8 hours, and the people walking along the path thanked the young people.
The initiative is part of the Green Academy project of the Podobri Foundation, supported and funded by Telus Bulgaria. Special partners in this initiative are the Municipal Youth Council - Shumen and the Shumen Plateau Nature Park.
The trail was created to help people with disabilities experience nature and gain more information about the Park.
