Nearly 300 works participated in this year's edition of the National Competition "Nature - My Inspiration", organized for the 26th time by the Shumen Plateau State Educational and Cultural Center. The students presented 176 drawings, 42 applied works, 28 presentations and 51 stories and poems on the topic. The participants express their attitude towards nature, depict plants and animals, describe their encounters with them in literary works and skillfully use natural materials. Some works show ways to protect the environment and the right attitude towards saving the planet.
In the drawings, the winners were Saner Salilov from the Art School, Popovo and Selen Idris from the Chifligarovi Art School, Shumen. Vasil Plamenov from the 2nd Primary School "St. Paisii Hilendarski", Radnevo and Teodora Mitkova from the Secondary School "Chernorizets Hrabar", Varna were awarded for their literary works. Part of the awards in the category were provided by the Northeastern State Enterprise. Altai Ahmed from the Secondary School "Khan Isperih" in Novi Pazar was awarded for his applied work, and in the presentations, the first places went to Borislava Georgieva from the Secondary School "Panayot Volov" in Shumen and Stoyan Radoslavov from the Vocational High School of Agriculture in Nova Zagora. In this edition of the competition, there was a massive participation of students from a specific class, and therefore the jury distinguished the participation of some collective works. The winners were classes from the school in the village of Sotirya in Sliven, from the village of Stroevo, Plovdiv region, graduates of the Center for Educational Support in Shumen, first and second graders from Svishtov, Radnevo and Apriltsi. Traditionally, an exhibition of the works is arranged in the administrative center of the Shumen Plateau Nature Reserve in the Kyoshkovete Forest Park, which remains permanent until the next competition. The ranking is published on the Shumen Plateau Nature Reserve website in the section COMPETITIONSThe awardees from Shumen can receive their awards from the Directorate of the Shumen Plateau Nature Park, and the awards will be sent to the others.
