Spring wildflowers are prohibited for picking and selling, we remind you from the Directorate of the Shumen Plateau Nature Reserve. The holidays this season tempt visitors as snowdrops and snowdrops, crocuses and spring cyclamen are currently in full bloom. These species, as well as hellebores, Bitin bluebells, forest pansies, primroses, peonies, cuckoo grapes, prickly heather, and sublingual heather, are also protected. The collection of bulbs, tufts and rhizomes for planting is also not permitted. The prohibitions are regulated by the Biodiversity Act, the Medicinal Plants Act and the Protected Areas Act.
We also remind you that wildflowers are perishable and once picked from the forest, we cannot keep them fresh for even a few hours.
