Every year, at the beginning of April, the Forestry Association celebrates its professional holiday – Forest Week. This year it will be held from April 4 to 10 under the motto: “I 
FOREST! ". Forest structures throughout the country are organizing campaigns related to afforestation and cleaning of forest areas. Forest educators will conduct educational games and events with children from schools and kindergartens. The first campaigns dedicated to the holiday are already underway. In response to the competitions announced by the forest structures, the children sent hundreds of works dedicated to the forest, as well as videos with their performance of the forest anthem - "You are beautiful, my forest", which are published on the Facebook page of the Executive Forestry Agency: https://www.facebook.com/iag.bg
The Shumen Plateau Nature Reserve, together with the Northeastern State Enterprise, will hold lessons about the forest in kindergartens and schools in Shumen and on the territory of the enterprise. Activities are planned on the topics "Get to know the forest near you" and on a STEM project of students from the P.Volov Secondary School, related to the water supply of Shumen and in particular the water resources of the Shumen Plateau. Campaigns are underway for cleaning and for placing signs with QR codes of the most common tree species in the nature park.
