This year, the "Green Suns" festival gathered hundreds of Shumen residents on Midsummer's Day. On the holiday of herbs, everyone welcomed the sunrise and wished for health and well-being. After weaving a Midsummer's wreath of flowers and herbs, everyone walked under it to the sounds of traditional folk music. The mood of the attendees was taken care of by the vocal group "Honey Voices".
Later, a lesson about the herbs and symbolism of Midsummer was held with children from the Forest School workshop at the Shumen Regional Library. The children made Midsummer bracelets and medallions as a keepsake.
