Volunteers repaired the bridge to the Bigora shelter in the Shumensko Plateau Nature Reserve. Years ago, a huge beech tree fell on the metal railings of the facility and the metal structure was severely deformed. With volunteer labor, Dobromir Vassilev and Plamen Todorov restored the railings using available materials, made additional reinforcement and repainted the metal parts. The volunteers said that this is their favorite place to walk and want to help make it more pleasant for all tourists. The bridge is part of the Dendrological Trail, which starts from the Kyoshkovete Forest Park, passes through the Bigora shelter, Rusalka cave and ends in the Khan Krumovi Porti area.
The activities are coordinated in advance. The Directorate of the Shumen Plateau Nature Reserve expresses its immense gratitude to the volunteers for their excellent work and the enthusiasm and civic stance shown.
