Employees from the Directorate of the Shumen Plateau Nature Park and the Regional Forestry Directorate - Shumen will join the national campaign "Let's Clean Bulgaria Together" on September 17. At 9:30 a.m., the cleaning of areas of the Shumen Plateau that are contaminated with waste will begin.
Citizens who wish to join the campaign can obtain bags and gloves from the Directorate's Summer Information Center, which is located in the parking lot next to the "Creators of the Bulgarian State" monument. Containers for separate waste collection and household waste are also located there.
World Cleanup Day, in which Bulgaria also participates, unites institutions, non-governmental and business organizations and volunteers around the cause of a cleaner environment. This year, the campaign is under the slogan "Give a hand to nature."
