Forest-themed lessons with children continue in kindergartens in Shumen. Forest educators from the Shumen Plateau Nature Reserve and the Northeastern State Enterprise taught children from the Bratya Grim Kindergarten in Shumen, with the lessons designed for grades 3 and 4. The children learned the rules of conduct in the forest, how to pitch a tent and what is needed for a safe walk. The activities also included games about wild animals and competitions.
Lessons are planned to be held in other kindergartens in Shumen and the region. Nurturing a love for the forest and its inhabitants and transmitting knowledge in a fun way is the most important task of the forest educators from the Shumen Plateau Nature Reserve and the Children's Forestry Association.
