Nearly 40 works have been awarded in the National Competition "Nature - My Inspiration"

Nearly 40 children's works received awards in the National Competition "Nature - My Inspiration". It was organized for the 28th consecutive year by the Shumen Plateau Nature Reserve to stimulate children's creativity related to nature. Over 220 works participated in the competition - 31 digital, 57 applied and 70 literary works, as well as 65 drawings. "One of our missions is educational - to teach children about the rich animal and plant world and to show them that we are all connected to nature," noted the park's director, Eng. Krasimir Hristov, during the award ceremony.

For the first time, children from Radomir, Cherven Bryag and Byala participated in the competition. Traditionally, the participation of students from Shumen and Novi Pazar is strong. The first places in the category for digital drawings and presentations went to Denislav Vassilev from the Vocational High School of Economics in Varna and Aleyna Redzhebova from the Sofia University "Sava Dobroplodni" in Shumen.

Two Shumen residents won the drawing awards – Melissa Mladenova from the Chifligarovi Art School and Polina Vladislavova from the CPLR-ODK Art School. Teodora Todorova from the Dr. Petar Berov Secondary School in Cherven Bryag took first place in the applied works category, and Andrea Mihaylova from the Hr. Smirnenski Primary School in Radomir was awarded for her literary work. The attendees were congratulated by students from the Han Isperih Secondary School in Novi Pazar. The awards were provided with the help of the North-Eastern State Enterprise, and the children received gifts, vouchers for the specialized bookstore Pegasus and advertising materials from the Shumen Plateau Nature Reserve.
