The employees of the Directorate of the Shumen Plateau Nature Park are joining the national campaign "Let's Clean Up Bulgaria Together". The World Cleanup Day, in which Bulgaria is once again participating, will be held on Saturday, September 16.
The employees of the directorate will distribute bags and gloves to those who wish from 9:00 to 10:00 on Saturday at the park's Summer Information Center, which is located on the Shumen plateau.
Together with the Municipality of Shumen, places have been identified on the Shumen plateau where volunteers can clean. These are the steps to the "Creators of the Bulgarian State" monument, the area around it, the recreation areas, the trails of the "Forest School" and the "Forest Labyrinth", as well as the shelters "Temenuga", "Detelina" and the road to the "Biserna" cave.
DPP "Shumen Plateau" participates for the fifth time in a row in the national campaign. Every year in mid-September, institutions, non-governmental and business organizations and volunteers unite for a cleaner environment, with the motto of 2023 being "We are ready!". The campaign encourages responsible attitudes and behavior to create a cleaner and more beautiful living environment.
