The Forest Week 2024 started with a joint initiative with the youth of the Bulgarian Youth Red Cross – Shumen. Orienteering on a map, pitching tents and knowledge about the most necessary equipment included the activity with the active youth. A hike was made along the Dendrological Trail, where the park experts showed the more common tree species and the tourist markings on the ground. We also played several thematic games for knowledge and speed in nature.
The motto of Forest Week 2024 this year is "Forest is life and shared responsibility."
The employees of the DPP “Shoumen Plateau” will celebrate the holiday with various initiatives – activities with children, cleaning, afforestation, meetings with friends of the Park, and on Saturday. 6.04, from 10.30 am in the forest park “Kyoskovete” art letters will be placed. Everyone will be able to take pictures, and there will be surprises for the little ones.
