One of the largest actions to clean up the Shumen Plateau and remove waste was implemented within the framework of the "Let's Clean Bulgaria" campaign.
Hard work and efforts were put in by employees of the Shumen Plateau Nature Reserve, enthusiasts from the Society 528 association, from the Shumen Fortress Community Center and many more volunteers from various organizations. Many bags of household and construction waste were collected, and the hardest part was removing the tires. The park employees were also involved in transporting the collected waste to the appropriate places.
