The book "Underground Wonders of the Shumen Plateau" was created under a project approved by the Municipal Fund "Culture" of the Shumen Municipality. The publication summarizes the information accumulated over the years about the caves and sinkholes with which the plateau abounds. The publication presents the uniqueness of the inanimate nature in the region. The entire team of the Shumen Plateau Nature Reserve worked on collecting the information, and the idea was the work of specialist Milen Marinov. Without making any claims to scientific work, the book summarizes data and studies that the Park has. Materials found in the State Archives - Shumen, as well as publications in local and national periodicals, were used.
