„"Health March" was jointly organized by the Regional Health Inspectorate, the Shumen Plateau Nature Reserve and the Preventive Information Center. The initiative is on the occasion of April 7 - World Health Day and Forest Week. "Nature is the foundation of our health," the organizers emphasized. Nearly 70 nurses and midwives from the Medical University of Varna, Shumen branch, participated in the march.
They were introduced to the main tourist routes in the nature park, the types of markings and the equipment needed for forest hikes. The organizers had prepared a fun quiz, which included questions on health topics and topics related to the nature park, as well as challenges. Everyone who answered correctly received prizes. The quiz was held in the Lavcheto area, and those present were introduced to the large-scale voluntary campaign for cleaning and improving the place, which is ongoing.
