"Buhalcheta" visited the Shumen Plateau Nature Reserve

20 children from the Shumen kindergarten "Buhalcheta" visited today the forest educators from the Shumen Plateau Nature Reserve and the North-Eastern State Enterprise. The children learned a lot about the forest inhabitants, the trees and caves in the park, as well as about the valuable plants that everyone should protect. During the lesson, the children had to recognize different animals and birds, understand why the forest should be protected from fire and why trees are important for all of us.
Next week, GorskiTeachers will start a new lesson for children from the summer schools in the city. The little ones will learn to survive in nature, build a hut out of branches, pitch a tent and navigate the forest markings. Experts from the Social Development and Tourism Organization and the Shumen Plateau Nature Reserve will show them how to pack a backpack and what are the most important things we should always carry when we go on a trip.
The Forest Pedagogy classes will continue in early September. A joint lesson with RIM-Shumen is also coming up, and the children can expect many surprises and fun adventures.
