Fourth graders will grow their own trees

Fourth-graders from the Sava Dobroplodni Secondary School learned how to create a new forest. Children from the Natural Sciences Clubs 1 and 2 got acquainted with the stages of the work of foresters to grow new forests, learned more about sanitary felling and the renewal of forest plantations. Experts from the Shumen Plateau Nature Park checked how the children had mastered the knowledge through a puzzle-solving game. The lesson ended with the sowing of seeds of the sycamore and red oak species, and each child will grow their own sapling at home.
