Children's drawings about the forest as a gift for hospitals and childcare facilities

Eight children's hospitals and clinics in the country are receiving a donation of children's drawings that participated in the "My Story about the Forest" initiative of the Executive Forestry Agency. The gesture is a continuation of the creative challenge dedicated to the Forest Week 2020, which collected more than 2,000 drawings from all over Bulgaria. "We decided to share the light and joy that the drawings from the creative event dedicated to the Forest Week - 2020 brought us by providing them to those who need them most. The bright and colorful colors of the works will improve the vision of the hospital buildings and will create a mood and positive emotion for visitors and doctors. I am glad that the love for the forest provoked such a noble deed, which was accepted with enthusiasm and great desire by the children," commented Eng. Miroslav Marinov, Executive Director of the Forestry Agency. He thanked the parents, teachers and childcare facilities for their help and support in making the event happen. The first donated works have already been placed in the Clinic of Pediatric Neurology at the St. Naum Hospital, Sofia. Works are also being received by: First Specialized Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital "St. Sofia"; Medical Center "Maichin Dom" - Sofia; The Directorate of the "Rusenski Lom" Nature Park will delight patients in the pediatric neonatology ward of the MEDIKA University Hospital - Ruse; The "Blue Stones" Children's Hospital presents its gesture to the pediatric ward - Dr. Ivan Seliminski Hospital AD - Sliven; The "Strandzha" Children's Hospital to the maternity ward of the "Deva Maria" University Multi-profile Hospital for Active Treatment - Vetren district, Burgas and the maternity ward of the Burgas University Hospital AD.
