Bulgaria is proud of its beautiful forests and nature, and this is proven by more than 10,000 votes, which put our country in first place in the ranking for the European Natura 2000 award. A day before the final, the European Commission extended the voting until September 22, 2020, 11:59 p.m.
Those who have not yet given their support for the Bulgarian nomination have the opportunity to do so.
Let's not forget that this is also a vote for the efforts of a large number of excellently prepared professionals. – foresters for whom the forest is a cause and without whose efforts Bulgaria would not only not have old forests, but would not have some of the best managed forests in Europe.
