Forest=art=love

The forest is love. The forest is art, and art – a forest of colors, shapes and illusions – these were the messages sent by the students of the 4th “a” grade of the “Panayot Volov” Secondary School on the occasion of the International Day of Forests on March 21. The children visited the “Shumen Plateau” Nature Reserve and had prepared special mosaics depicting the forest in different seasons.
The experts from the Park told the little nature lovers what a forest means, who takes care of it and why there should be dead wood in the park. The children learned more about the forestry profession and did not fail to ask what the markings on the trees mean. The specialists explained to them the differences between forest and tourist markings and the "marking" process in forestry.
There was no shortage of games and entertainment. The game "Evolution" caused laughter and emotions, while throwing a pine cone into a basket turned out to be a difficult task. As a souvenir, everyone made forest cards that they took home.
