Forest Pedagogy classes will be held on March 15 at the Shumen University "Bishop Konstantin Preslavski". The classes will be part of the Open Day, which is traditionally organized by the Faculty of Natural Sciences. The idea for the classes is from Dr. Maria Kaschieva. Young people will take part in entertaining games and various activities of the faculty, will have the opportunity to visit the laboratories, and future prospective students will be able to get to know the teachers and talk to them. The classes will be attended by third-grade students of the SU "Panayot Volov" with class teacher Margarita Toneva and 11th-grade students of the PMG "Nancho Popovich" with teacher Gergana Hristova. Forest educators from the North-Eastern State Enterprise, the DPP "Shumensko Plateau" and the university have prepared many surprises for the participants, as the children will have to show survival skills in the forest and knowledge about the animals that inhabit the forests in Bulgaria. The Forest Pedagogy classes will be held in the university park from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
