Experts from the Shumen Plateau Nature Park are conducting classes with students from the University of Shumen. The first-year students were introduced to the regimes in the protected area, biodiversity and tourism opportunities. The classes were held at the Summer Information Center of the Shumen Plateau, and the students learned more about the educational games and interactive methods through which information about the sights and biodiversity in the Nature Park is presented. Providedand were data on the plant and natural wealth of the territory. The future teachers also went through the "Forest School", where forest inhabitants and the rules of conduct in the Park were presented.
Classes with students from various specialties will continue throughout the month of October. The Directorate of the Shumen Plateau Nature Park has concluded an agreement with the Shumen University "Bishop Konstantin Preslavski" for joint educational and scientific initiatives.
