Summer activities have begun in the centers of the Shumen Plateau Nature Reserve. Today, experts from the Park Directorate and the Northeastern State Enterprise conducted a lesson in Forest Pedagogy with children from the Malchugani daycare center. On June 20, students from the Kirkovo district of Veliko Preslav will be visiting. I would like to remind you that the Park Directorate donated a computer configuration to the community center there.
During the months of June, July and August, visits to the observatory, the summer information center, hiking tours to sights on the Shumen plateau, a forest school, creative workshops and screenings of educational films can be organized for children. The activities can be held both in the summer center, which is located on the Shumen plateau, and in the administrative building in the forest park "Kyoskovete". Children learn more about the biodiversity of the nature park, how to prepare for a walk in the forest, how to prevent fires and how to react if they notice a forest fire.
