Nearly 130 children's works participated in this year's edition of the National Competition "Nature - My Inspiration". It was organized for the 29th consecutive year by the Shumen Plateau Regional Nature Park to stimulate children's creativity related to nature. The competition included 32 digital, 20 applied and 27 literary works, as well as 45 drawings, divided into two age categories.
A large number of children, inspired by nature, participated in various initiatives and educational activities organized by the Park Directorate and forest educators from Northeastern Bulgaria. The theme provoked the participants not only to create, but also to think about their personal contribution to environmental protection.
The first places in the fine arts category went to Daria-Nika Vladimirova from the "Art Popovo" Art Institute at the House of Culture, Popovo, and Gabriela Nedyalkova from the "Chifligarovi" art school, Shumen.
In the category for digital drawings and presentations, the winners are Jasmin Zhekova from the "Sava Dobroplodni" Secondary School in Shumen and Victoria Poshtarova from the "P.Volov" Secondary School.
In the applied works, the first place went to 3rd grade from the "Ioan Exaph Bulgarian" Secondary School and Gabriela Todorova from the "P. Volov" Secondary School in Shumen.
Gizem Sezgin from the "Khan Isperih" Secondary School in the town of Novi Pazar and Izabela Mladenova from the "Bulgarian Language and Creativity" literary club at the "D. Voynikov -1856" youth club, the town of Shumen, were honored for their literary works.
Those present were greeted with musical performances, and sixth-graders from the "Green Deal" eco-club at the "Tr. Simeonov" Sofia University presented the club's eco-activities.
The prizes were provided with the help of the Northeastern State Enterprise, and the children received gifts, vouchers for the specialized bookstore "Pegasus" and advertising materials from the "Shumen Plateau" Nature Reserve.
