As an alternative to all canceled events on the occasion of Forest Week, which is traditionally held in April, we challenge all young and old children in Bulgaria to write, draw and create about the forest. "My Story of the Forest" is the name of the initiative through which everyone can tell their story about an unforgettable and fun hike with friends, a picnic with mom and dad, a walk to a landmark in the woods or a favorite lesson in Forest Pedagogy. You can send a drawing or photo, as well as a collage made of different materials. The theme is the forest, our love for it and all the animals and birds for which it is home. You can send your stories, stories, poems, essays or photos of drawings, accompanied by your name, years, contact phone number, and the city in which you live, to the following email address: t.dimitrova@dpshumen.bg until April 31, 2020. We promise to publish all the works on the pages of the SIDP, the Shumen Plateau Nature Reserve and the Bulgarian Forest Association.
