Work continues on maintaining the routes in the Shumen Plateau Nature Reserve. Employees of the Directorate restored the thematic route "Floristic Trail". New signs have been placed indicating the plant species that can be observed along the trail, and the markings have been completely restored. The route starts behind the information center of the Monument "Creators of the Bulgarian State", passes through the Chengeltabiya area and ends in the Garvanlaka area. It has a total duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes.
The signs at three paragliding sites have also been renewed, indicating the eastern, southeastern and southern start.
There is a secured children's slide near the "Old Town" shelter. The facility was broken and posed a danger to play.
The park equipment at the "Avtostroitel 1" and "Avtostroitel 2" shelters is in good condition. Park employees removed the overgrown vegetation and cleared a path to the two recreation areas. The area around the Golyama and Malka Halvadzhiyka fountains has also been cleared of overgrown grass.
The work on the renewal and maintenance of the park infrastructure will continue. Signs and markings along the thematic routes "Dendrological Trail" and "Karst under Protection - a Gift for Generations" are to be restored.
With the available resources of personnel and funds, the Shumen Plateau Nature Reserve maintains 13 shelters, 50 recreation areas and kilometers of tourist routes.
