The Biserna Cave can be reached on foot. Vehicles can be parked next to the villa of the Shumen Municipality. There are two walking routes – from the Kyoskovete Park via the marked route “Lesson on the Forest Path” and from the villa of the Shumen Municipality. There are signposts along all the indicated routes.
We remind you that the walk in the "Biserna" cave is about 800 meters long in one direction. The temperature is 10 degrees and therefore visitors need to have warm clothes. Due to the high humidity and the cave waters, it is recommended that tourists wear suitable closed shoes.
The cave has the status of a scientific research site and home to bat colonies, which is why it opens to tourists twice a year according to an established regime.
