This year, the Biserna cave will welcome visitors at the earliest at the end of summer. The site was supposed to open its doors in April, but this did not happen due to the introduced anti-epidemic measures. From May 15, the breeding season of bats in the cave begins and the presence of people is not desirable. The next period in which tourists can visit Biserna is from the beginning of September to the end of October - before the winter sleep of the cave's inhabitants. If by then all restrictions due to the coronavirus have been lifted, the cave will be open for visits. Last year, Biserna, which is a protected habitat for 14 species of bats, was visited by over 2,100 people.
