Shumen Plateau Nature Park is raising funds to repair worn and broken infrastructure in the areas of the Forest School, the Fairy Tale Trail and the Kiliyata Rock Monastery. The project “On Fairy Tale Trails” is part of the “Choose to Help” 2021 donation campaign and can be supported by anyone. All three locations are of exceptional importance for the nature park and for tourism in the region – they are visited annually by over 50 thousand tourists, including school groups and children. The repair activities include the renovation of gazebos, wooden bridges and safety equipment, the installation of new information signs, and cleaning. The goal of the project is to make Kiliyata Monastery accessible to the widest possible range of visitors, and the Forest School and the Fairy Tale Trail – even more attractive places for conducting training and educational walks for children, schoolchildren and students of botany specialties at the Shumen University. Within this year's edition of Raiffeisenbank's traditional donation campaign "Choose to Help" a total of 15 significant causes in the fields of healthcare, social activities, culture and education and environmental protection are raising funds. The initiative is being held for the 13th consecutive year, and since 2009, the bank, employees and the general public have supported a total of 283 projects with over BGN 3.5 million. The other institutions and organizations that are raising funding for their projects in "Choose to Help" 2021 are the National Archaeological Museum, Rila Monastery, Military Medical Academy, the First Three Minutes Foundation, Bulgarian Christmas, the multidisciplinary hospitals in Montana and Kardzhali, the Bulgarian Women's Fund, Caritas Bulgaria, Concordia Bulgaria, the H. Stepich Foundation, SOS Children's Villages, the For Our Children Foundation and the South-Eastern Development Fund. Donations to the selected project can be made easily through the modern platform izberi.rbb.bg and the option "Donate with a bank card" - a link to the virtual POS terminal is located under each individual project included in the campaign. Other options for supporting the causes are through the mobile application RaiMobile, Raiffeisen ONLINE or by bank transfer directly to the account of the respective organization.
