A cleaning campaign was carried out by the employees of the Directorate of the Shumen Plateau Nature Park and the State Forestry Administration - Shumen. The campaign is traditional and is dedicated to the Forest Week.
Waste has been removed from the areas of the former kindergarten of the Old Town, the recreation area next to the Municipality villa and near the Old Town shelter.
In addition to the usual tissues and condoms, this year's "finds" include chairs and construction waste. Unfortunately, in the places where forest officials were collecting tires a week ago, similar waste has been dumped again. The Directorate of the Shumen Plateau Nature Reserve calls on visitors to the park to protect their natural wealth and not to pollute the forest areas with waste.
