Summer activities with children have started

Experts from the Shumen Plateau Nature Reserve have started summer activities with children. This week, lessons are being held on a joint initiative with the Shumen Regional Library. The children are visiting the Directorate's centers to learn more about nature in a fun way. At the Summer Information Center, the children got to know the forest inhabitants, went through the fairy tale trail and the forest school. There are activities for survival in the forest and specialized lessons about bats and herbs on the Shumen Plateau. Together with experts from the North-Eastern State Enterprise, educational activities were held with children from the Green School at the Anastas Stoyanov Regional Educational and Cultural Center and with students from the Patilantsi daycare center.

The lessons are held with organized groups and upon prior request from interested organizations. During the summer months of last year, games and fun forest pedagogy were held with nearly 150 children.
