In order to get acquainted with the Shumen Plateau Nature Park, nearly 50 people from Targovishte visited the Directorate's visitor center. They are participants in the "Green Bulgaria" project of "Europe Direct" Shumen, through which young people over 14 years old get to know interesting protected areas and landmarks. The guests were presented with the opportunities for tourism and recreation in the Park, biodiversity and the most remarkable examples of inanimate nature. Experts from the Park introduced the young people and guests to the types of protected areas, useful and harmful activities in the forests, how to protect them, as well as the rules of conduct in a forest area. The participants in the meeting unloaded the exhibition with works from the "Nature is my inspiration" competition and promised to participate in the next editions of the competition.
