Third graders call for nature conservation

New signs calling for nature conservation are refreshing the "Forest School" and the "Fairy Tale Trail" in the "Shumen Plateau" Nature Reserve. The idea is from third-grade children of the "Panayot Volov" Secondary School, who, together with their parents and employees of the "Shumen Plateau" Nature Reserve, placed the inscriptions. "The texts are entirely created by the children and are quite funny, they are also accompanied by a drawing," specified the class teacher Katerina Koleva. "Don't pollute the forest, the llama will eat you," "Mother Nature loves you, love her too!", "Listen to the song of the birds and protect them from garbage," are the inscriptions on the new signs.

The installation action is part of the activities that the class carries out under the project "Participate and Change - the Parent, an Active Partner in School Life". The third-graders are participants in numerous campaigns, activities and lessons about the forest, organized by the experts of the Shumen Plateau Nature Park, and on the occasion of the Park's 40th birthday, they made and installed birdhouses along the alley of the Kyoshkavete Forest Park.

The Directorate of the Shumen Plateau Nature Reserve calls on visitors to the Forest School and the Fairy Tale Trail to respect the newly installed signs and park infrastructure and to comply with the rules of conduct in nature.
