Increased control during holidays and weekends will be carried out by teams of employees of the municipality, the Shumen Plateau Nature Park and the police. Compliance with the restrictions on visits to the Park, introduced by order of the Mayor of Shumen Municipality, will be checked. We remind you that gatherings of people in the shelters are not allowed. Movement to the “Creators of the Bulgarian State” monument should only take place on side roads, not on the steps, where it is difficult to maintain distance if there are many people. The use of alcohol is prohibited, sitting on lawns and benches is not allowed on the territory of all parks and gardens. Wearing protective face masks and maintaining a distance of two and a half meters is mandatory. Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or an adult family member.
The teams will draw up reports for failure to comply with the orders and the imposed preventive measures.
All 17 shelters on the Shumen Plateau will be bypassed in advance and the entrances to them will be closed with signal tapes. The restriction on car traffic to and on the territory of the Shumen Plateau remains in force. Only cyclists and pedestrians will be allowed through the checkpoints.
