The Directorate of the Shumen Plateau Nature Park organizes hiking and cycling. The Shumen Plateau Nature Park Summer Information Center has bicycles for rent. On the territory of the Shumen Plateau Nature Park there are 11 marked tourist routes, places to stay, places to eat, shelters, gazebos, corners with park furniture for short-term recreation - benches, tables, fireplaces, attractive cultural monuments and religious and cult sites. The hiking routes cover a significant part of the territory of the Park and the most important landmarks in it - natural and historical. They combine active recreation and cognitive tourism. The Park has playgrounds with facilities including the “Sun” children's complex, an eco-educational trail for children “Forest Labyrinth” and “Forest School”.
