Adrenaline Route

Marking – orange Transition durationa – 2 hours It offers extreme hiking on the rocky eastern slopes of the Shumen Plateau. It starts from the Bohemi tourist complex in the Divdyadovo district. A steep forest trail leads us to a rock ridge. If you are a rock climbing enthusiast, there are several climbing routes nearby with varying degrees of difficulty. The route passes near the entrance to the Divdyadovo Zandan cave and continues west to the foot of another rock ridge, where you can see shallow dry caves that served as monastic refuges. A surprise awaits you - a memorable passage through the Ohlyuva rock phenomenon. In spring, exotic orchids can be observed. The end point of the route is the Information Center of the Shumen Plateau Nature Reserve.   Route "Lesson on the Forest Trail"
Marking – orange Duration of the transition – 1 hour Starting from the Kyoshkove area - Bigora tourist shelter - Rusalka cave - Biserna cave - Borovets fountain. From the Kyoshkove area, we start on an asphalt path through a centuries-old beech forest. There are signs on the trees that indicate their species. Fountains will remind you to pour yourself some water. We cross a small stream and pass by the rock phenomenon "Devil's Passage", which is worth seeing up close and hearing the whispers of the legends about it. When you reach Rusalka cave, you will see where the Poroyna River springs from. We continue to the entrance of the largest cave in the Biserna park. Following the orange markings, we will reach the end point of the route - Borovets fountain.

Route "With a backpack to the "Bukatsite" hut"

Marking – blue Duration of the transition: about 3 hours Starting from the "Kyoshkove" area - "Shumenska Krepost" - tourist shelter "Aleko" - tourist shelter "Avtostroitel" (or through the "Alvadzhi" area) - "Golyama Halvadzhia" fountain - "Bukatsite" hut.

The route starts from the village of Kyoshkove. It passes by the Borovets fountain. After a long climb, you reach the area of the historical and archaeological reserve Shumen Fortress. From here, the route passes by the so-called Aleko and continues in a southwesterly direction through a large beech forest. Nearby, you can observe numerous surface karst formations - whirlpools and sinkholes. You reach the Avtostroitel tourist shelters, near which is the Golyama Halvadzhia fountain. The route continues in a southerly direction and passes by the Malka Halvadzhia fountain. Continuing along a forest road, you reach a picturesque meadow - the Osmarski Kolonii village. Here is the Bukatsite tourist hut, where you can spend the night and visit the Osmarski rock monasteries.

Route "Journey to the Past"

Marking – light green Route duration – 2 hours Start from the Information Center of the Shumen Plateau Nature Reserve - Temenuga Tourist Shelter - Monument to the Course Students - Chengel Gyol area - rock monastery above the village of Khan Krum. From the Information Center of the Shumen Plateau Nature Reserve, you can reach the so-called Temenuga -  a pleasant place for a short break with benches, tables, a fountain. Continue along a forest road in a southerly direction through a hornbeam forest, crossing an asphalt road near the historical landmark "Monument to the Course Students". Follow the forest road to the "Chengel Gyol" area - a vast meadow, which is crossed in a southerly direction. The route continues through a mixed deciduous forest and passes by interesting rock formations called "bee cells". Here, on the southern slope of the plateau, a wide variety of grass species can be observed. The path leads to a stone staircase carved into the rock. Along it, you reach a monastery set apart in the rocky ridge, from where a beautiful panoramic view opens.

Route "This is where Bulgaria begins"

Marking – green Duration of the transition- about 4 hours Starting from the "Kyoshkove" area - "Bigora" tourist shelter - "Rusalka" cave - "Shumen Fortress" - "Detelina" tourist shelter - Monument to the course students - "Temenuga" tourist shelter - Monument "Creators of the Bulgarian State".

The route starts from the "Kyoshka" area. It begins with a climb along an asphalt alley through a forest of mixed deciduous species, passing into a centuries-old beech forest. It passes by the "Bigora" shelter and a recreation area with fountains, benches and tables. It crosses a small stream on the built decorative bridge and passes by the rock phenomenon "Devil's Passage". It reaches the small water cave "Rusalka". There is a fountain and a recreation area here. A forest road leads to the plateau-like part of the park and near the historical and archaeological reserve "Shumen Fortress". South of the fortress, near the "Pazachnitsa" villa, it enters a beech forest, crosses an asphalt road and along a forest road reaches the so-called "Detelina", where there are opportunities for short-term recreation and sports. It continues in an eastern direction. Passing by the historical landmark "Monument of the Course Students", it reaches the "Temenuga" shelter. From here, a forest road leads to the Monument "Creators of the Bulgarian State".

"The Magic of the Forest" Route

Markinga – red Duration of the transition – 4 hours Starting from the tourist shelter "Aleko" - tourist shelter "Uspeh" - eastern border of the "Bukaka" reserve - Suhoto Kladenche - Kochovski bunker - catchment area - "Tarnov Tabiya" area - western border of the "Bukaka" reserve - "Mermaid" cave.
