Bigora shelter has been renovated

The Bigora shelter has been repaired and renovated after vandals broke the benches and tables. The shelter is located on the route from the Kyoshkovete forest park to the Rusalka cave and is frequently visited. Passing tourists reported the destruction. According to people, the wooden structures were broken with an axe or other tool, as there are traces of blows, and concrete pedestals were also broken. After the citizens' signal, the Directorate of the Shumen Plateau Nature Reserve immediately took action to restore it. The benches and tables have been repaired, the chimney and fireplace have been repaired, and the shelter can be used again.

There are 11 shelters on the territory of the Shumen Plateau Nature Park, some of which have been "adopted" and are maintained by various companies and organizations. No acts of vandalism were detected on the park infrastructure during the summer.

The Park Directorate urges visitors to preserve the facilities so that they can be used in the future and we remind you that they were built for the convenience of all visitors and tourists.
