Christmas wishes to forest workers are sent by the children from the Green Patrols club at Panayot Volov Secondary School. Traditionally, they make cards to congratulate those working in the forest system, and the Forest Educators from Shumen Region conduct a thematic lesson "Winter in the Forest" with the children. The children learn what happens to the plant and animal world in the cold months and how we can help the forest inhabitants.
This year, the cards made are electronic, with which the fifth graders show their attitude towards protecting the environment and saving paper and natural resources.
The active work of the experts from the Shumen Plateau Nature Reserve with the children from the Green Patrols club began four years ago, during which numerous joint actions and a number of lessons were implemented. The activities will continue, and feeders from eco-materials will be made to feed the birds in the winter.
